Thanks to Kara my kitchen looks totally different and awesome. I found some material and she used her sewing machine to make these cafe curtains. I'm so excited! Thanks Kara!

Our New Livingroom

Pops has been building a new entertainment center for us. We could not be more excited to see what it would look like and how it fit into our living room. Kara and he had been talking for a few weeks to make sure that her specifications were met and that we had what she wanted in the piece of furniture.

Last night was the night that we planned for Kitz to bring over the finished piece. Several others decided to join him and so Sheri, Uncle Dan, Zach, Jodi and Avery all arrived to install and move the furniture.

We scooted our old one out of the way and in came the beautiful new, handmade and stained entertainment center. Pops could not have done a better job meeting everything that Kara wanted and exceeding both of our expectations. If you did not know better, you would think that the piece was an expensive furniture store purchase.

But the fun was just beginning...Pops told us that there was another something for us in the truck. We went outside and there was a huge, rectangular box with Philips on the side. It was a brand new, 42 inch, flat screen TV to sit on top of the new entertainment center. We were BLOWN away...couldn't believe it! We would have never thought that we would have a TV that nice to go on a piece of hand made furniture that nice.

Thank you to Kitz and Sheri SO much for your incredible generosity. (Also generous in the kid's clothing that you brought!) Thank you Kitz for working so hard and sacrificing sleep to make such a beautiful piece of furniture for our house. We will get so many fun years out of our new entertainment center and TV.

Maui

Here are a few pictures of our trip to Maui. We had a lot of fun, and saw some beautiful things. We still have two other cameras we need to develop so I will post more pictures later.
